Painting by Zhong Mei Yin. H 59cm, W 40cm. Zhong Meiyin (1922-1984) was a female modern Chinese writer and a member of the Chinese Women Writers Association. She used pseudonyms such as 'Yin,' 'Ai Jia,' and 'Lu Shi.' She was born in Shanghang, Fujian, and later moved to Beijing. Zhong Meiyin attended the law program at Guangxi University. In 1946, she moved to Taiwan, where she served as the chief editor of the supplement of Da Hua Evening News and worked as a television program host. Later in life, she relocated to the United States.
