The best American primitive traveling tradesman box/desk with slanted top for writing, original green paint, double-rattail hinges on lid with breadboard ends, hand forged iron hasp and clasp, carved and tilted wooden holders for hand made rope handles on the side that are applied with rosehead nails - circa late 18th century. Expected use wear and overall good original condition - has not been tampered with. Measures 31 1/2"W x 16"D x 13 1/2"H.
