Provenance: The Collection of Mr. & Mrs. John Whitehead, England; The Collection of the Duchess of Rutland, Wales; Michael W. Murphy, El Dorado, AR. Exh.: "National Portraits", The South Kensington Museum (now Victoria and Albert Museum), London, 1868 and listed in the accompanying catalogue as No. 97.
