Ten Chinese porcelain cups
19th century
Comprising one lidded cup with saucer featuring figures and inscriptions throughout, with previous collector's seal and character mark to cup underside; one incised-yellow-ground lidded cup with floral motifs, two stamps to body, and four-character mark to finial; one white-ground cup with polychrome fruit and six-character mark to underside; two polychrome famille rose cups with 'dragon and phoenix chasing a flaming pearl' motif and mark to underside; a white-ground cup with iron red Daoist emblems, each with characters and associated inscriptions, also with four-character mark to underside; a purple-ground cup with blue and white landscape medallions, also with four-character mark to underside; one famille rose cup with crane and flower scene, previous collector's wax seal to interior, and character mark to underside; one pale-orange-ground cup with floral motifs and six-character mark to underside; and one blue and white cup and stand with bird-filled landscape scenes and inscriptions to each, with metal-fitted rims, and four-character mark to cup underside.
