Lot of 16 antique Christmas themed postcards as shown. Not all cards may be described so please review closely. Cards have early renditions of Santa Claus or Saint Nicholas dressed in brown, green, blue and red. One embossed postcard has a "lace" border elaborately made by a finely designed punch hole press of some kind. Another is a photo of Santa kissing a woman who we can only assume is his wife "Under the Mistletoe" - the toys at his feet temporarily forgotten. Postcards have postmarks from sent to addressees which include Greenwich Connecticut to Greenwich, Kenton? (possibly Ohio) sent to Norwalk Connecticut with an undivided back sent in 1908, New Haven Connecticut, East Dedham Massachusetts (unmailed), Wales Massachusetts, Rutland to Holden Massachusetts on December 19th 1910, Woodsville New Hampshire to Leonard Bridge Connecticut on December 24th, 1908, Portland Oregon to Herminston, Oregon on December 21st, 1012. This postcard has a "World's Panama-Pacific Exposition in San Francisco 1915" cancellation stamp on it. Another from Flushing Whitestone Station to Whitestone New York postmarked on Christmas Eve in what appears to be 1907. Several printed in Germany. Most if not all from the early 1900's to 1910's. Some may be embossed or have glitter. Mostly New England postmarks and addressees.
