Condition: Good; partial/torn dust jacket. Includes ALS by the author to Tupper, thanking her for hosting at her "charming home," and writing that she's become popular with her friends because of her travel tales of Portland and Seattle. Also, with misc. notes and several copies of photographs of Empress Dowager Cixi stamped Seattle Art Museum. Emily Hartwell Tupper (daughter of Carrie Amelia Hartwell Tupper) was the Curator of Textiles for the Seattle Art Museum (1966-1972) and authored museum publications.
