This is an absolutely magnificent antique flow blue Luncheon/Salad Plate.
The plate is a fine example of the early pieces made by Doulton Burslem Pottery in England.
The plate is in the Persian Spray pattern.
It is beautifully decorated with blue and golden bowls.
The plate is marked with Doulton Burslem impressed and printed stamp that dates it between 1882 and 1902.
Each plate is hand pained/decorated individually, so there is some slight differences.
The plate is approx. 9 1/4" in diameter at the rim.
The plate is in good antique condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
There are some crazing that is consistent with its age and normal use or/and some dark spots and manufacturing defects like bubbles under the glaze and missing paint.
It is a great display piece
A great example of the popular Victorian style.
