This is an exceptional Dinner set made by Royal Paragon, England.
The set is in a classical Athene pattern. It is a hard to find pattern. The set is expressly made for Simpsons, Toronto, Canada.
The pattern has luxurious cobalt blue and gold rim.
The set is properly marked with Paragon Backstamp.
The place setting includes:
8 (eight) Dinner Plates - 10 3/8" in diameter
8 (eight) Salad/Luncheon Plates - 8 1/8" in diameter
8 (eight) Bread and Butter Plates - 6 1/4" in diameter
8 (eight) Cream Soup Bowls - 4 1/2" in diameter at the rim and 2 3/8" deep
8 (eight) Saucers for the bowls - 6" in diameter.
The set is in good condition. It is almost perfect
There is no chips, cracks or repairs, or crazing.
It could have some utensils mark consistent with its age.
It is a Lovely looking piece and could be admired for many years to come.
Just imagine your special table set with these beautiful pieces.
