Condition

Frame: 11 x 14 3/4 inches.
In overall fine and stable condition, with light deposits of grime and dust to surface, and stable craquelure throughout. Few areas of vertical cracks visible at edges and corners, with associated areas of flaking and paint loss, likely exacerbated by friction with frame. Many of these areas have been filled, and the inpainting is visible under both raking and UV light. Verso inscribed Constitution Old Ironside, with foam-core strips affixed to vertical sides of the panel.
