late 18th century, possibly Elliston and Perot, Philadelphia, hinged top with bail handle and covered lock, paneled case with bail handles, original key included, 12 x 18 x 12-1/4 in.

Condition
structurally sound, surface with scattered pitting, discoloration, accretions, and oxidation, minor losses at corners of base, key fits in lock but lock does not engage
