Description

White two door convertible, 1250 cc 4 cylinder engine, dual carburetors, 4 speed manual transmission, tan canvas removable top, right hand drive, rear mounted spare tire, MG wire wheels, red leather interior, leather wrapped steering wheel, Jaeger branded instrument panels, odometer reads 01145, trip meter reads 1445

VIN number on title reads xpag6432, which mirrors the engine number badge on the side of the motor, chassis code listed on makers plate is 5942

Provenance: Estate of Dr. J. Francis and Laquita Amos, Rocky Mount, Virginia

Note: car previously owned by American singer John Gary, includes collection of vinyl records in trunk

Condition

paint with scratches throughout, areas on the body with cracks in the paint and rust, canvas top with stains, chrome elements with rust and scratches, interior with cracks and tears to seat and other upholstered elements, signs of mildew and surface dirt, door handle on passenger side functions but can be easily detached


engine turns over, brakes do not appear to work, not tested for road worthiness, brake drum remains fixed at one wheel, engine bay with some updated components, some components with surface rust and fluid leaks, tires with dry rot, frame and undercarriage with surface rust, signs of fluid leaks
