DESCRIPTION: Four silk and reptile skin jewelry boxes with jade accents & carved jade accents including two Qing dynasty belt hooks. Blue silk & gold fabric box; orange silk with human figure with plants box; light brown reptile skin box; and dark brown reptile skin box. PROVENANCE: George Henne November 1866 - June 2, 1938. By inheritance to J. Fuller, Pennsylvania. Jade and related Chinese antiques imported by George Henne, Sole Proprietor, 311 East 23rd Street, New York, NY approximately from 1900 to 1935. Some use in lockets and boxes for small valuables. MEASUREMENTS: Largest jade hook: 4" long. Boxes: 5-3/4" to 11-1/2" wide x 4" to 4-1/4" deep x 2-1/4" to 3-1/2" high. CONDITION: Tears and fraying consistent with age. MEG
