A PAIR OF QUEEN ANNE SILVER CANDLESTICKS
by Richard Syng, London 1702, with slightly tapering stop-fluted columns above an embossed slanted gadrooned flange with canted corners, raised on a stepped, domed and square base embossed with a gadrooned band, each engraved with an armorial and to the underside 10.0. (2) 21.5cm high, 19.5 troy ounces gross
The marks are legible on the underside of each. Each stands upright. Tiny pin-prick size hole beneath rim of one stick. Rims are slightly misshapen. Surface wear commensurate with age but generally in good condition.
