A sterling silver tea caddy, designed by Charles Osborne (1847-1920), Tiffany & Co., New York, NY, circa 1882

Literature
Of globular form, with hammered surface and cast, repoussé, and acid-etched decoration including wild rose motifs with swirling beaded tendrils, the cover, bearing stylized acid-etched monogram, “EJ,” revealing a lid, the interior of body gilt-washed, marked to underside, including “M” mark for Edward C. Moore (1869-1891) and no. “1884.”
