A fine wartime signature from U.S. Navy Captain John Lorimer Worden who commanded the USS Monitor during the significant Battle of Hampton Roads. Also known as the Battle of the Monitor and Merrimack or the Battle of the Ironclads, it was the first combat between ironclad warships.
