Description
An early original quarter-inch reel-to-reel tape recoring (7.5ips) featuring a 1974 interview between Queen (Freddie Mercury, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon - Brian May was out sick) and Johnny Moran, a disc jockey on Radio Hallam, a local station in Sheffield, England. Housed in the original Scotch brand box bearing handwritten notes, and with a Johnny Moran business card. Together with four black and white photographs of Moran, including one signed by him.
The interview was recorded and broadcast shortly after Queen’s performance at the City Hall in Sheffield, England on November 5, 1974. During the 22-minute interview, the band discuss the formation of the group, live shows, and the process they use while in the studio recording. Sold without copyright.
Accompanied by some additional Johnny Moran ephemera.
