Ancient Egypt, Third Intermediate to Late Dynastic Period, 21st to 31st Dynasty, ca. 100 to 332 BCE. A lovely necklace constructed from dozens of ancient faience beads in a variety of eye-catching colors. The seed-form, barrel, and tubular beads create a dazzling asymmetry to the composition that is not like every run-of-the-mill accessory, so this is sure to accentuate any outfit with which it is worn! Size (necklace): 29" L (73.7 cm); (largest bead): 0.4" L x 0.1" W (1 cm x 0.3 cm)

Condition
Wearable as shown and constructed in modern times. Faience beads are ancient; stringing and metal components are modern. Damage to some longer beads as shown, with light fading to glaze pigment, otherwise in great condition. Nice presentation!
