A woman's 1920s turquoise silk velvet evening coat, personally owned by Gail Zappa. 

The coat features lamb fur trim at the cuffs and collar, embellished with gold pipettes, and glass seed beads lined in gold and amber lamé. The surface design embellishment showcases a floral motif outlined with gold sequins with glass seed beads and floral designs at the center. Some crescent sequins border the opening of the jacket, some moons have snapped and now appear almost like a fringe accent. Size or label are not present. 

The garment's wear is consistent with age, and the interior lining shows moderate wear because of the weight causing the lining to shred at the interior of neckline and the interior of the arms. There is discoloration, staining, loose sequins, and beading throughout.
