A late 19th century silver and gold, rose-cut diamond cluster brooch, with floral openwork surround, principal diamond measures approximately 5.9 by 5.5mms, length 2.5cm, 9.3g
Condition
Overall good condition Principal rose-cut diamonds appear to be well matched, bright and lively, settings are closed back Diamonds appear to draw a yellowish hue Some light marks, discolouration and scratches, in keeping with general age and wear Principal diamond with nick to crown facets, likely due to surface reaching inclusion No marks to indicate gold purity Brooch fittings are later replacement Some soft solder visible to reverse, one area appearing to be a repair Clients are advised to view and inspect items before bidding and they must satisfy themselves as to the condition of every lot For enquiries about this lot please contact David Pregun at david@kinghamsauctioneers.com
