Signed 19th Century Porcelain Panel Repeater Carriage Clock. 19th century repeater carriage clock having a cornice case with reeded handle and three highly decorated porcelain panels. Movement:- Eight day repeater. Original platform. Chiming on a gong on the hour and half hour. Repeat function chimes the hours. Dial:- Porcelain panel dial decorated with two phoenix birds, exotic fish and ribbons. Blue steeled hands. Black Arabic numerals. Porcelain Panelss:- In addition to porcelain plaque dial, clock with porcelain panels to the sides. Side porcelain panel decorated with goddess image, exotic fish and ribbons. No damage to the porcelain panels. Glass:- Original beveled glass. Beveled glass over dial, in back door and oval glass insert in top of clock. Signatures and Marks:- Movement backplate with makers mark "G.L" in oval punch (Gay Lamaille) and with serial number. Approx. Measurements:- Overall height with handle up 5½ inches. 2¾ inches, depth 2½ inches. Accessories:- Carriage clock accompanied with winding key. Condition:- In perfect working order at time of listing. No damage to porcelain panels. Note wear to gilt, refer to photographs
