Description

A pair of French Art Deco designer side chairs designed circa 1925 by Rene Joubert (1878-1931) and Philippe Petit (1900-1945) for DIM (Decoration Interieure et Moderne, Paris). Moderne lounge chairs produced with mahogany veneer finished wood frames fitted with generous cream leather and fabric linen upholstered seats and cushions. Made in France, Signed DIM on base. Seat height 17". Provenance: Purchased from Valerio Antiques (Coral Gables, FL) $35,000. USD.

Dimensions: 33 X 26 X 32 in.

Condition: Good overall condition having mild surface wear. One chair having surface scratch to right exterior arm panel. Estate fresh to the market.
