Description
Five Staffordshire Glazed Earthenware Animal Groups, 19th Century. Comprising a pair of swan spill vases; pair of recumbent deer, each with a label to the underside for 'Wynn A. Sayman, Richmond, Mass'; and a recumbent whippet.
Dimensions: Height of spill vases 4 1/2in; width 4 1/4in; depth 3in.
Condition
Each in generally good condition overall, dust and surface dirt in crevices. Typical firing and glazing imperfections. Some with roughness to foot. One spill vase with a hairline to underside. Museum wax residue to underside. The pair of deer with minor fleabites and losses to the bocage. The whippet group with crazing throughout.
