A French Empire Patinated Bronze and Ormolu Encrier
early 19th century, featuring a central urn raised on tripodal dolphin feet with pierced torch cover, between a pair of Classical urn inkwells, set upon a rectangular base with removable ormolu pen tray and Empire floral medallion and palmette relief mount, unmarked. Includes an ormolu accessory handle stamped "5."

Some rubbing and spotting to patina and gilt. Light verdigris to interior of central ink well; accessory handle with white surface mark.
