Bicentennial United States Navy Bronze Medallion
MEDIUM: Cast Bronze
DIMENSIONS: 4 x 4 inches
CIRCA: 1975
DESCRIPTION: This handsome and well conceived bronze medallion was issued to commemorate the Birth of the United States Navy, October 13, 1775 in Defense of Rights and Liberties. The medal features the American Eagle and a masted ship at full sail on one side, and a nuclear powered aircraft carrier, battle ship and submarine on the reverse. The medal has been float-mounted in a solid case of plexiglass.

CONDITION: There is a ¼ inch chip to the bottom left corner of the base.
