Well detailed early 1900s joseph d'aste bronze panther sculpture on marble base-signed on leg--also has old original sticker at base can't make it out very good but bottom reads Buenos aires-maybe an antique shop that it was origally bought from? not sure but many of these art deco pieces ended up there at this time- measurements: 5.5"H x 11.25"L x 4"D-in good condition----Joseph d' Aste, also known as Giuseppe D' Aste , Joseph D'Aste Aste or Joseph , is an Italian sculptor born in Naples in 1881 and died in 1945 , who worked mainly in France , specifically Paris . Joseph d' Aste moved to Paris in 1900 and exhibited at the Salon of French artists in 1905.
