William Hewatson (Under the Reign of King George II) autographed hand-written letter dated June 28th, 1750. The letter is address to John Lloyd and regards a legal case in which Dr. Chorley, a physician, established the right to his Fishery and the lord of the manor was prevented from fishing there. Interesting social content regarding a dispute between a physician and an aristocrat.
Slight loss of paper along right edge, else fine condition.
