Description
A great assemblage of signatures of 14 members of the elite and renowned 3rd Infantry Division who fought against Axis on all European fronts and whose men were awarded over 60 Medals of Honor. Activated in November 1917 during World War I, it earned the nickname ‘The Rock of the Marne’ during the Second Battle of the Marne. The 3rd was then reformed during World War II to engage in some of the fiercest fighting in on the Italian Front and in the invasion of Southern France. It then took Nuremburg and liberated Dachau.
