Fine collection of forty photo and illustrated postcards, the majority sent as ‘Feldpost’, or German military mail, during World War I. Images include portrait views of soldiers, churches, soldiers writing letters home, memorial cemetery, Bremen, villages, destroyed city blocks, and more. Cancels include Blankenburg, Hannover, Bremen, Bresua, Tuchel, Traunstein, Kiel, and more. Some of the covers and postcards also bear Feldpost cancels. All are war-date, and undoubtedly contain good, personal content, however not translated by us. All show expected wear, else very good. Worthy of further research.
