NEIMAN, LeRoy (American, 1921-2012). A Group of Three Signed Ink or Pencil Sketches of “Femlin” or Women. [Ca. 1960s-1970s]. Two sketches on paper, one on art board. One of the “Femlin” sketches is heightened in black marker (in this, she’s wearing a holiday costume). All three are signed by the artist at the lower right corner. Two paper sketches are 13 ½ x 10 ½”. The sketch on art board is 16 x 8”. Art board sketch has pencil notes on verso which mention Playboy. Some general wear, toning, one sketch is soiled with a torn, chipped margin. Very good. “Femlin” is Neiman’s popular female character who appeared in Playboy Magazine from 1955 until his death in 2012. Excellent condition.
