ROOSEVELT, Theodore (1858-1919). 4 5/8 x 1 in. clipped signature ("Theodore Roosevelt") from a check. Accompanied by a typed cover letter signed by Elizabeth King McDowell, Executive Secretary on behalf of Mrs. Roosevelt, conveying the clipped signature to Miss Mary Atwood. New York, NY, 7 March 1935. 1 page, 7 7/8 x 11 in., "Woman's Roosevelt Memorial Association, Inc." letterhead, folds, occasional spotting.

[With:] ROOSEVELT, Theodore, Jr. (1887-1944). 4 x 5 1/2 in. card imprinted "Government House Porto- Rico," with handwritten note “With best wishes,” and signed ("Theodore Roosevelt"). Accompanied by ROOSEVELT, Edith Kermit Carow (1861-1948). Autograph note signed ("Edith K. Roosevelt") on 2 printed cards, each 2 1/2 x 3 3/4 in., one imprinted with "Mrs. Theodore Roosevelt," conveying "Thanks for kind birthday wishes." The message is continued on a second card, this one imprinted with "Mrs. Theodore Roosevelt," and "Sagamore Hill," which was on Cove Neck Long Island Sound, Oyster Bay, New York. The card signed by Theodore Roosevelt, Jr., was enclosed with this personal note from Edith Roosevelt as per consignor (light toning to each, very good condition overall).
