In the Louis XVI style, each of fountain form, with a deep circular bowl with three upright ring and female mask handles, raised on tapering square supports centering a fluted columnar standard, one example with a scantily clad seated male putto with a butterfly on his shoulder, the other example with a scantily clad seated female putto with a dove on her shoulder, ending in a reticulated octagonal base, signed. Height of taller 14 1/2 inches.

each centerpiece appears to be in generally good condition; it is possible that there has been professional restoration to the upright handles (very difficult to tell; the gold coloration is matte rather than bright gold seen elsewhere; wear to gilding, notably along the rim edges, revealing a pink coloration underneath; one handle does show evidence of a hairline/repair/restoration when viewed from above); the base of one examlple has a small shallow flake loss and a few other scattered small nicks to the feet, not of great consequence; each impressed with model no. 2310; not blacklighted
