A Workbasket, Central Coast , Prob. Ancon, Chancay-Inca, 1350-1530 CE

Wicker basket including:

1. 22  wooden spindles - some decorated with painted hardstones, some metal (most broken) piddles, four spindles with whole.

2. 2 ceramic miniature vessels - a soft stone miniature bowl.

3. 3 brown and yellow balls of yarn - a small bundle of white cotton thread, a brown cane flute with seven holes, 5

4. 4 pieces laminated silver plates

5. 2 miniature ponchos - a white textile in progress of manufacture , and one (unfinished?)

6. A sling made of black braided woo , pack of black wool

7. 2 complete long belts of beige cotton

8. 3 combs probably used for weaving and s more 

Length 43 cm , width 14 cm , height 7 cm
