Item Details
Description
This collection includes two exquisite pieces from Lalique, the renowned French luxury glassmaker known for its exceptional craftsmanship and artistic designs. The first piece is a signed Lalique France Lion Round Dish, and the second is a signed Lalique France Quail Ring Holder.

Lalique, founded by the legendary glassmaker and jeweler René Lalique in 1888, gained prominence for its exquisite glass art, including iconic perfume bottles, vases, and decorative hood ornaments during the early twentieth century. René Lalique's artistic vision and dedication to quality laid the foundation for Lalique's enduring legacy.

The Lion Round Dish showcases Lalique's mastery in creating intricate and detailed glasswork. The lion motif, a symbol of strength and majesty, is expertly crafted, adding a touch of sophistication to the dish. The use of crystal elevates the piece, creating a luxurious aesthetic that Lalique is celebrated for.

The Quail Ring Holder, another signed Lalique creation, demonstrates the brand's versatility in producing both functional and artistic pieces. The delicate form of the quail is captured with precision, making it not only a practical accessory but also a beautiful objet d'art.

Following René Lalique's passing, his son Marc Lalique steered the company towards producing lead glass or crystal works in the 1950s, further expanding Lalique's legacy. Today, Lalique continues to be a symbol of luxury and elegance, and its pieces are highly sought after by collectors and connoisseurs.

This duo of Lalique items represents a fusion of artistic expression and functional design, making them exquisite additions to any collection or a thoughtful gift for those who appreciate the beauty of fine glasswork.
