Handsome Pair of French Grand Tour Bronze Sculptures

19th century, the first bronze of "Apollo Belvedere", after the original marble sculpture by Giovanni Angelo Montorsoli (Firenze, 1507-1563), h. 39-1/2", w. 27-1/2", d. 18-1/2", and the second bronze of "The Diana of Versailles", after the original, attributed to Leochares, ca. 325 BCE and now conserved at the Louvre, Paris, h. 39-1/2", w. 32", d. 18-1/2", both raised on circular polished marble pedestals.

In overall good, as found condition without damage or repairs. Lacking one 4-1/2" antler on the deer. Lacking a 1/2" central bolt cap on both bronze bases. Various chips and scuffs to circular marble pedestals, consistent with age.
