French Fin-de-Siecle Giltwood Pier Mirror

fourth quarter 19th century, the pierced crest decorated with a wreath of flowers and boughs of roses secured with a bowknot, the surround decorated with acanthus on a stippled ground, with crossetted corners and a beaded outer edge, set with a beveled mirror plate.

In good, as found condition. There are some small chipped losses to the frame at the lower right corner. A small loss to the beading at the left shoulder. Minor chips to the flowers. The gilt surface is fine. The beveled mirror plate is clean.
