Description
Near pair of Tibetan bamboo framed chests. Circa 1880s. Four doors, painted floral motifs, lifting front apron on hinges. Retail labels with information on back of chests. One chest has an additional section of molding on its left front side. Refinishing throughout entirety of both chests. Gouges, marks and scratches to wood on tops. Small paint losses to front of chests on doors and edges. Chips to wood on feet. Smoke damage throughout chests. Chip and loss to wood on front right edge. Warping to corners of tops. Repairs to wood on left side of top on one chest. Chip and indent to wood on front left edges on one chest. Split and crack to wood on folding front apron on one chest.
