Description
Claes Oldenburg (Sweden / American, 1929-2002). 2 exhibition posters. Sidney Janis, New York, 1967, lithograph 29" x 23"; Los Angeles County Museum of Art, 1971, offset lithograph after Oldenburg, 28 1/4" x 21". Both unframed and stored rolled. Sidney Janis creases to edges and corners, small tear to top edge, discoloration along left side; LACMA creases and losses to corners and edges, creases in margins and into image, scuff marks through text.
From the estate of Maurice Binder. Born in 1918, Maurice Binder was an American film title designer, best known for his work on 14 James Bond films, including Dr. No. He died in 1991 at the age of 72.
