Overlay jewelry consists of two pieces of silver soldered together. The top layer has a design drawn and cut out. When the design is complete, the top layer is soldered to a second layer of silver, which will show through the open areas of the design on the top.

APPROX AGE: Fairly Modern (meaning 1980s or newer).  
SIZE: This bracelet measures approximately 5 7/8 inches from end to end on the silver, and has a 1 1/4 inch gap (fits a 7 1/8 inch wrist). It measures 1 1/4 inches wide at the widest part, and the total weight is 72.7 grams.
