oil on canvas, signed at lower right, titled and stamped en verso, matted in a wood frame with a painted filet.
Stretcher size 24 x 30 1/8 in. Frame dimensions 31 7/8 x 37 7/8 in.
Pal Fried was born in Budapest and studied at the Hungarian Academie. He emigrated to the United States after World War II and taught at the Academy of Arts in New York before moving to Los Angeles, California.
His romanticized paintings of beautiful women were popular among society women and Hollywood celebrities.
