Item Details
Description
Embark on a journey through time with this exquisite antique dagger from the 19th century, originating from the Beja Hadendoa or Beni-Amir peoples of Eritrea and the Sudan. This 'X-hilted' dagger, characterized by its unique and finely crafted design, is a testament to the ancient elegance and cultural richness of East Africa.

The handle of the dagger is a masterpiece in carved ebony wood, showcasing the skilled craftsmanship of the Beja Hadendoa tribe. The intricate detailing on the handle reflects not only the functionality of the weapon but also the aesthetic sensibilities of the indigenous people who created it.

Encased in an old tooled leather sheath over a wooden core, the dagger is not merely a utilitarian tool but a work of art that speaks to the cultural heritage and historical significance of the Beja Hadendoa tribe.
