A large weathered and worn carved wooden head and long post like structure all from a single piece of wood, most likely part of a parade marionette that was used in festivals to revere a saint. The head and staff measure 28 inches tall on it's 6x6 metal base. mexico or related ethnic group. Provenance: Ex Robert Banks collection, MD, USA.
