Description
Pair of 19th C. German silver figures in grape wine harvest motif. One man and one woman, both holding staffs and standing on pedestal bases with tripod feet with frogs. One foot bent up on male figure's stand. Both staffs appear to have threaded tops as shown. Possibly Hanau silver with assayer's tremolierstich zig zag mark. Also shown is a Dutch import tax mark used between 1814-1893. Both measure appx 7"T. Total weight appx 17.07 ozt (Silver content not tested).
