A Russian belt, 19th Century.
Gilted and cliosonne-enamel silver belt with engraving and foliate scroll decoration, lock shaped as a dagger with safety chain, with 30 oval links each connected with small chainlink with silver pearls.
With Kokoshnik mark presumably from Alexander Virjohovsky, Kiev. 19th Century.
In good condition due to age, some wear under the dagger, a few small silver pearls are missing.
Measurements: 66 cm (length); 2.5-6 cm (width).
