Description
Canadian. Early 1940s. Colour lithograph. Poster describes a chain of conversations that resulted in the destruction of a train. While few spies were operating in Canada during the War, this poster showed what could happen with information in the wrong hands. Signed by the artist L.B. Jameson (Lionel Bell Jameson (1908-1987)). Marked, "Issued by the Director of Public Information, Ottawa by Authority of Honourable James G. Gardner, Minister of National War Services", at lower right. Signed, by artist at lower left corner. 30" x 20". The Howie Meyer Legacy Collection.
Condition
Excellent colour and overall condition. Minor wear at upper and lower edges.
