Pre-Columbian Guerrero Female Terracotta Figure (Mezcala culture; ca. 1000 to 400 BCE). Size 9 inches high. + Custom stand included. This type of figure is of an unusual form. Enveloped in grey slip, she stands sturdily atop stocky legs, presenting a thick body with prominent knees, nubbin arms, delineated fingers, sloped shoulders, and pointed breasts. Provenance: From the Dr. Abner Weisman estate in NYC (collected in the 1950s-60s)
