A LARGE FAMILLE-VERTE 'LANDSCAPE AND CALLIGRAPHY' CHARGER Kangxi Period Brilliantly enameled with a lush mountainous setting and dramatic waterfall, on a lower ledge a scholar on horseback and his attendant approaching a cluster of houses, accompanied by a poetic inscription followed by a seal reading Xi Qiao, the rim decorated with lobed reserves enclosing crustaceans and fish, alternating between a dense ground with butterflies and flowers. 15in (38.1cm) diam.
