Description
Lot of four framed 19th century hand colored engravings with a China theme. Includes "The City Quang Chew Fu, or Canton" published by Astley; "Forme de la Cour Imperiale de Peking" published by Jacob van Meurs; "T Keysers Hof van Binnen" published by Jacob van Meurs; and "A Mandarin or Magistrate of Turon attended by his Pipe-Bearer" published by G. Nicol. Each one is framed and under glass, largest frame is the Imperiale de Peking at 15" x 19.5". Condition: very minor normal signs of age - vertical center creases as expected, frames show signs of wear and handling, see images. Weight: 12 lbs.
