A ROMAN GLASS BOWL WITH HEAVY IRIDESCENCE
Roman / 2nd - 3rd cent. A.D. / Glass / H = 3.6 cm (1 27/64 in)
Shallow bowl of greyish-white transparent glass with an attached ring foot and everted, flanged lip. Under the lip and at the foot a glass thread for contouring.
Some cracks on the wall and lip; strong iridescence.
From a Spanish priv. coll., with an expert appraisal by Ricardo Batista Noguera from 1984.
