Mixed Media (colored pencil/pastel) This rare work is classic and what he is known for. Dimension: 19 1/2 x 10 1/2" on paper. An exhibition was held honoring him at The Museum of Fine Arts in Lyon, France. Starting in the 1960's he shifted his work into that of purely geometric motifs and spaces. His elements are very few, often consisting of solor or connected triangles, discs or half disks, but their variations are infinite. This work came out of an important collection and was owned by the family for decades.
