This ancient stamp seal, measuring 4 cm in diameter, is crafted from a copper alloy, dating back to circa late 3rd–early 2nd millennium BCE. Belonging to the Bactria-Margiana Archaeological Complex, the seal features a central loop handle and an intricate geometric pattern on the base, which would have been pressed into clay or wax to seal goods and correspondence, indicating its importance in the trade and administrative activities of the time.

Provenance details note that this item was initially discovered in a minor excavation in the late 1960s, later becoming part of the collection of a private museum in Kyiv, initials D.K. It was acquired in the early 21st century by a prominent private collector in Zurich, initials F.G., known for a prestigious assortment of Central Asian artifacts.
